Default Factions

Ok, so I installed Guild Wars again after a good 6 months of a break and I really miss it and want to start playing again. I picked up Factions, installed it and was like ummm ok. I must be a retarded or something becuase I dont see anything different other than the fact that I can use a ship to get to what looks like a pvp area.

Tell me theres more land or something somewhere. 50 bucks for this? argh!

No need for correction. He double-posted, which can happen every now and then when the site takes a go-slow.

What you're seeing is the Battle Islands - which are still a part of Prophecies. IF you linked the games to the same account, there's a quest in LA you can get that'll introduce your Tyrain characters into the Factions story line (see the skills trainer, whats-his-name). Until you pick up that quest, you'll only see the Battle Islands and LA as your choices when you click the ship.

Or you could create a new Canthan Character and start the Factions story from the beginning, and once you get to kaineng center, you can take your Canthan born characters to LA via a quest.

There's a little slip of paper with it on it, at least mine was on a seperate piece of paper, I have it neatly tucked away in the plastic casing of my game case now ^_^

In my version (Euro) it's on a credit-card sized card.

Europe (and possibly the rest of the world?) got the cool collectible plastic card access keys while america just got a dinky paper pouch with perferated edges you have to tear off. On a side note; the european factions collector's edition also got a cloth picture that we didn't ><
